I’m a source of inspiration the youths in my ghetto – Small Doctor

Singer Small Doctor, who is really glad about his constant rise in the industry recently deemed himself a super source of inspiration to the upcoming talents in his hood, Agege, Lagos. According to the “Penalty” crooner, he has boosted the self-esteem of guys in Agege to keep believing in themselves as they try to make something out of their talents which could see them becoming the next Small Doctor. Talking to Hip TV in a chat recently, Small Doctor boldly said;

“Obviously I’ve inspired so many artistes from my hood to keep striving for more and I’ve made them believe that they can equally make it and can do better than I’m doing. Success isn’t limited to one person and I made them realize that you can break the norm by doing what you do best and putting more effort.”

He further spoke of the effect his fame has on him. According to him, he doesn’t let the fame and money get into his head, as he works harder than is expected of him. In his words; “I still work as if I’m yet to make any money. I put in more effort than is expected of me. So, this motivates them to do better for themselves and for the Agege community.”

EFCC throws subtle hilarious shade at davido’s “N30 in the account” claim

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have again made their contribution to matters concerning the Nigerian music industry by subtly redirecting a Nigerian lady to Davido after she reached them on Twitter to seek financial advice. Same EFCC sampled their opinion on Banky-W’s engagement to actress Adetomi after a Nigerian asked what they thought of the dramatic engagement. According to them, “it wasn’t a financial or economic crime.”

This time, a certain Nigerian woman reached out to them via their twitter handle to ask what she was supposed to do if an unknown person credited her account with N3 billion. She wrote; “@officialEFCC if an unknown person credits my account with N3 billion, what should I do?” In response, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had this to say;

“Find the unknown person and tell him to send the other N27 billion so that you can also go and sing that song (30 billion for the account ooh). Or just call your bank and ask them to investigate the source of the money.” Lol… Did EFCC really say that? Of course, they did, and it’s damn funny!!! The guy behind the EFCC twitter handle sha… Davido don suffer no be small…

Adekunle Gold says he lacks the appetite to create a record label

Former YBNL act, Adekunle Gold, recently made known via a reply to his fan that he lacks what it takes to create and manage a recording label. Pressure has been on the singer to create his own record label after Olamide’s YBNL Nation dropped him after two years of the contract. In a bid to move forward in the music game, the singer went ahead to form a band for himself which he calls “the 79th element.” However, his fans are just not satisfied with that.

Many of his fans have kept reaching out to him, asking him to also own a record label like his former label mate, Lil Kesh. But Adekunle Gold is not ready to run the affairs of a label, as he believes he isn’t wired for such a dealing. A fan recently reached out to him and asked if he has launched his own record label yet. The said fan took to Twitter to post;

“@adekunleGold, have you launched your own record label yet?” The cool-headed singer replied him with these simple words; “Nah bro. No appetite.” His reply was followed by a “running emoji,” to really portray the fact that he is not in for such dealings. Well, Adekunle Gold knows his limits. But who else thinks he should own his own label?
